Working with Share's auxiliary board from Northwestern's Kellogg Graduate School of Management, we have revised our vision and mission statements to more accurately reflect how we have grown as an organization and our focus for the future:

We envision an Angola with increased access to quality higher education, healthcare, and economic opportunities. SHARE partners with Angolans to promote sustainable social and economic development through education, healthcare support, and employment services.

Bryan Law, the former chairperson of the of the auxiliary board and now a member of both the SHARE Board of Directors and the Angola University Board of Advisors, describes the process:

"It was critical to highlight SHARE's ultimate goal of economic and social development in Angola. We wanted to capture SHARE's model of partnership-with local Angolans, other non-profits, corporations in Angola, and the Angolan government. And we wanted to emphasize SHARE's belief that we are providing the tools that will allow Angolans to unlock the enormous potential they already have."
